CNC Intelligent Editing with Undo & Redo
Dozens of CNC intelligent editing commands make changes to your CNC program quickly and easily. Edit confidently with the ability to undo and redo all changes. Microsoft® Word compatible menus, toolbar, and shortcut keys make Predator CNC Editor easy to learn.
Unlimited File Size
This software supports up to 1GB of code per CNC program. In addition, editing multiple CNC programs at the same time is supported. Cut, copy, and paste between them. This includes the ability to split windows and tile or landscape the view for ease of editing.
The Predator CNC Editor includes a side-by-side file compare. Identify G-code and M-code differences and fix them with a single click.
A summary report and numerous options to ignore spaces, blank lines, leader/trailers, feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool changes simplify the process. Integrate shop floor edits with a master CNC program.
Some CNC editors claim to have “auto compare” but really fall short on delivering the true results. Predator CNC Editor is an intelligent editor that allows for programmers to review the returned part program for approval.
Send, receive, and drip-feed to one machine at a time, via a switch box or direct connection to any compatible CNC machine. Compatible with USB to serial adapters for communication from a laptop running Windows.
Works in the background, even while other software applications are running. Should a tool break, an easy-to-use DNC restart command automatically recreates the CNC program from any point.
Supports different communication settings such as baud rates, data bits, and stop bits for multiple CNC machines stored in the CNC template. Quickly toggle between machine controllers to send or receive with ease.
Graphically verify CNC code by quickly backplotting a wireframe model of any CNC program in a true 3D environment. Supports 2-, 3- and 4-axis mills, routers, waterjets, lasers, and lathes.
Within the graphics window, eight predefined views, zoom in, zoom out, pan, and fit commands provide complete control of the process. Copy the backplot or 3D animation to the clipboard and quickly add graphics to your setup sheets.
NOTE: Within Predator CNC Editor, numerous examples are provided. For best results, 3D backplotting and verification often requires an appropriate machine and reverse postprocessor configuration, which can be done by knowledgeable end users or our support team.
CNC templates add intelligence by organizing all the CNC control details such as leading zeros, trailing zeros, negative signs, how many digits before, and which have M-code and G-code values.
This also allows for a quick way to change CNC programs. Over 20 sample CNC templates are included with the purchase and additional can be made – it’s completely configurable.
